Codicologie des Kirgams ou manuscrits arabes sur Le royaume de Wandala ou Mandara au XIXè siècle d’Eldridge Mohammadou

Abstract

This contribution deals with the codicological aspects of some Arabic manuscripts collected and used by Mohammadou Eldridge to write his book entitled Le Royaume de Wandala ou Mandara au XIXe siècle. By questioning the codicological aspects of all these items collected by the author, we came to the conclusion that the said Arabic manuscripts were probably copied from the original ones long after the 19^th Century.
