The northern Cameroon society is made up of a system built on constraints and exigencies. Ignoring the various rules inspired from pulaaku is a mischief. However, beside all these considerations some musicians has gone beyond this reality and started singing erotic songs. The beginning of emancipation has first of all been seen as something less important since the society is not interested in the initiators of those songs. However, the major thing is the production of songs that evokes openly sexual behaviour. Something which draws the attention of so many people from different level of the society who reacted to this new kind of songs. This study is showing a cut off with the past. It is analysing the way that the population has welcomed this new type of music. This initiative brings up new ways of live. It brings out the consequences of the behaviour of different actors in the society. This work will show the impact of the local music on the behaviour of the population.
